My thoughts in one sentence
Ice Planet Barbarians entranced me to finish the book in one sitting with a brilliant plot and spicy scenes.
About the book – Visiting Not-Hoth
Summary
You’d think being abducted by aliens would be the worst thing that could happen to me. And you’d be wrong. Because now, the aliens are having ship trouble, and they’ve left their cargo of human women—including me—on an ice planet.
And the only native inhabitant I’ve met? He’s big, horned, blue, and really, really has a thing for me…

My Ice Planet Barbarians Review
To anyone who knows me, I’m a monster romance fiend. I simply *love* monster romances and alien romances – give them all to me! Now, when I joined TikTok, it was hard not to miss this big blue aliens series; it was everywhere on Bootok! Finally, I can safely say Ice Planet Barbarians lives up to its fame and much more.
The book starts with Georgie and a group of girls getting abducted by aliens who are violent slavers. The aliens experience a fuel problem. They drop the humans off on a seemingly uninhabitable ice planet. Their plan is to pick up their human cargo later. Georgie becomes a pseudo-leader of the group. She heads out to find food, water, or anything at all for them to survive.
This is where she meets Vektal, a tall blue alien who has “resonated” with her. Resonance, strictly existing on this new planet, is how fated mates are chosen. Their Khui determines resonance and is a parasite of sorts. It warms them up, lets them survive on Not-Hoth, and plays matchmaker by deciding who resonates with whom. Imagine leaving your romantic life up to a worm!
“It wasn’t a monster come to eat me. It was this monster. Who’s come to eat me out”
Overall Thoughts
Overall, Ice Planet Barbarians was an engaging read that kept me hooked. The spicy scenes were great, but not anything crazy. I would rate this 4 stars out of 5. It was amazing. However, a few books in the series are my favorites, such as Barbarian Mine and Barbarian’s Mate. Overall, Ice Planet Barbarian’s first book is an excellent introduction to the nineteen book series. Which, by the way, can be read as standalones.
What are your thoughts? Happy reading, and thanks for taking a look at my big blue alien book review!
